Responsibilities

• Lead engineering strategy, technical execution, and overall project delivery for automation and machine-build initiatives.
• Manage and mentor engineers, designers, and technicians to ensure high-quality engineering output and on-time project execution.
• Oversee concept development, mechanical design, integration, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Review and validate technical specifications, design proposals, calculations, and project documentation.
• Translate customer needs into clear, value-focused engineering concepts and proposals.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment with project scope, timelines, and performance expectations.
• Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously, from planning through installation.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety practices, and quality requirements.
• Travel as needed to client sites for meetings, reviews, installations, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• University engineering degree with strong academic performance in math and physics.
• Proven engineering experience in machine design and build for manufacturing environments.
• Ability to visualize concepts and convert them into technically viable, cost-efficient solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership capacity, including managing engineers, technicians, vendors, and customers.
• Strong project-management skills with ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects.
• Solid computer proficiency: MS Office, CAD tools, PowerPoint, MS Project.
• Fluent in Spanish and intermediate English.
• Ability to travel as project needs require.

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly salary: 50,000 – 75,000 MXN (before taxes), based on education, experience, and skill level.
• 3 weeks of paid vacation after 90 days of employment.
• Additional discretionary paid days off awarded upon reaching significant project milestones.
• One weekly gasoline fill‑up.
• Performance bonuses: Bonus per completed project based on meeting client specifications and achieving quoted profit margins; bonus amount tied to a percentage of the project’s profit contribution.
