Manufacturing Process Engineer

As an Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes for both new and existing products. By ensuring flawless operation sequences and identifying the right machinery, tools, and equipment, you will contribute to the productivity and efficiency targets of our processes.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing manufacturing processes for new and existing products, including operation sequence, machinery, tools, and equipment requirements.
  • Conducting cost estimates and return on investment analysis to determine the feasibility of process improvements.
  • Managing the implementation of product design and process changes through fabrication, purchasing, and assembly.
  • Resolving quality problems using the CAPA methodology and ensuring total product quality.
  • Conducting process validation and qualification, and implementing process controls using statistical methods.
  • Documenting and maintaining job instructions, visual aids, and process-related quality system procedures.
  • Ensuring manufacturing processes meet the standards set by the FDA Quality System Regulation.
  • Driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies into the manufacturing process.
  • Improving ergonomics in each work station to prevent injury and ensure EHS compliance.
  • Leading teams and directing the technical efforts of others.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • A bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in a relevant technical area.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in both team collaboration and leadership positions.
  • Excellent analytical decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
