Responsibilities
  • The District Sales Manager is responsible for leading and training a group of sales team members to ensure assigned sales projects, targets and initiatives are met or exceeded. The assigned territory for this position will be Mexico.

  • This position reports to a Regional Sales Manager, is part of the North America commercial team and will be fully remote.

  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Ensure that the District Mexico team meets or exceeds annual sales & gross profit goals.

  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, manage and support new team members.

  • Plan, develop & implement strategic sales & support programs for Sales Associates team to accomplish specific company, departmental, brand & product objectives. Be able to coach and empower Sales Associate team members to exceed expectations through ongoing development of accolade / incentive programs, team activities and one-on-one mentoring.

  • Daily coordination of open territory call coverage along with daily coordination of order entry and technical support for existing territory incoming / overflow customer calls.

  • Ensure the CRM database is updated with all pertinent information as it relates to incoming calls and ongoing lead development projects and manage various OEM relationships assigned by Senior Management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or similar field required.

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales pertaining to Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, etc.

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and ability to lead and motivate others

  • Fluent in Spanish/English required

  • Valid Driver’s License Required

  • Up to 30% travel

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Sales Leadership

The salary range for this role is 960,000 MXN to 1,080,000 MXN. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
