Digital Marketing Strategist (US SMB Growth)
We are seeking a driven, high-energy Digital Marketing Strategist to join the front lines of our growth team.
This is a pivotal role where marketing acumen meets consultative sales.
You will be the first point of contact for US-based Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (SMBs), acting as a diagnostic consultant to uncover their growth challenges and digital marketing gaps. We don't need a passive account manager.
We need a proactive relationship builder who is willing to pick up the phone, cut through the noise, and have real, value-driven conversations with business owners about their future.
What You Will Do
- Front-Line Consultation: Execute high-volume phone outreach to a curated list of US-based business owners.
- Digital Diagnostics: Move beyond a script to genuinely understand a prospect's business.
- Analyze their current digital footprint (SEO, Paid Media, Social Presence) on the fly to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Uncover & Qualify Needs: Ask the difficult, high-value questions that help business owners realize where they are losing revenue.
- Pipeline Architecture: Meticulously manage your CRM, qualifying leads and setting the stage for our senior closing teams (or closing select accounts based on tenure).
- Market Feedback: Act as the "eyes and ears" of the company, gathering real-time data on SMB pain points to feed back to our product and leadership teams.
- The "Phone Warrior": You are fearless and articulate on the phone.
- You understand that the best consulting happens in conversation, not via email.
- You can build rapport and trust within the first 30 seconds of a call.
- A Digital Native: You possess a foundational understanding of the digital marketing landscape.
- You know the difference between SEO and PPC, understand the value of Social Ads, and can explain these concepts simply to a non-technical business owner.
- Resilient & Ambitious: You have a "hunter" mentality. You are energized by targets and metrics, and you view objections as an opportunity to educate, not a roadblock.
- Empathetic Strategist: You care about small businesses. You can put yourself in the shoes of an entrepreneur and offer solutions that actually make sense for their bottom line.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a high-velocity environment (Sales Development, Agency Account Management, or Public Relations).
- Demonstrated experience managing high-volume phone activity (100+ dials/day) while maintaining high-quality conversations.
- Strong grasp of digital marketing concepts (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, Web Design).
- Impeccable verbal communication skills—you are polished, professional, and persuasive.
- Previous experience working with the US SMB Home Service Industry.
