Key responsibilities include data mining, interpretation, and cleansing, as well as identifying strategic opportunities to maximize data utilization.

In this role, you will collaborate with senior data scientists and management to understand their needs. Additionally, you will conduct research, develop innovative statistical models for data analysis, and communicate your findings to all stakeholders. You will facilitate smarter business processes by implementing analytics for valuable insights. It is essential to remain updated on technical and industry advancements.

You will work with senior data scientists and management to understand their needs, conduct research, develop statistical models, and communicate findings. Your role will help implement analytics that lead to smarter business processes and insights. Staying current with technological and industry trends is vital.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
• Field of study: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in analysis or data science environments.
• Proficiency in statistical methods such as multiple linear regression, multivariate adaptive regression splines, cluster analysis, and time series modeling.
• Strong data skills including SQL programming and SAS data step programming for data preparation.
• Experience with pattern recognition and predictive modeling.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of database management systems and programming languages like SQL, SAS, Python, and/or R.
• Cloud technical skills, preferably in GCP, including data modeling and support.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, presentation, facilitation, and writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented environment with multiple projects.
