About The Role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to lead key elements of our global security program, including team operations, control implementation, and risk reduction efforts across IT, OT, and cloud environments. You’ll manage a team of security professionals, oversee daily operations and long-term initiatives, and drive alignment with our strategic goals around Zero Trust.

This role requires a leader who can translate security frameworks into measurable outcomes, communicate across executive and technical audiences, and execute efficiently in a fast-moving, federated environment. Come and join a great team who are driving tomorrow’s cybersecurity.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a geographically distributed cybersecurity team responsible for detection, response, IAM, engineering, data protection and vulnerability management
  • Execute NOV’s information security strategy and roadmap across IT, OT, and cloud environments
  • Apply an automation-first and AI-aware approach to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and accelerate threat response
  • Serve as a communication bridge between remote teams and corporate leadership—ensuring alignment, accountability, and shared visibility
  • Drive adoption of best practices aligned with frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
  • Collaborate with IT, cloud, HR, and infrastructure teams to embed secure practices into new projects, identity systems, and operations
  • Stay current with evolving security tools, tactics, and emerging threats—including GenAI/LLM-related risks and defenses
  • Track metrics, support compliance reporting, and provide executive-level visibility into risk posture and control effectiveness
  • Participate in talent development, performance reviews, and team-building initiatives to create a high-performing security culture
  • Oversee and participate in incident management, investigations, and root cause remediation
  • Other duties as assigned by organization leadership
What You Bring
  • Possess strong communications and interpersonal skills in English
  • Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with others, to influence based on knowledge and experience
  • Experience in cybersecurity and in a leadership or management capacity
  • Experience leading teams in remote or globally distributed environments
  • Familiarity with identity and endpoint platforms like Okta, SentinelOne, Zscaler, AWS, Azure, etc.
  • Solid understanding of scripting/automation tools (PowerShell, Python) and their role in scaling security operations
  • Clear communicator, capable of interfacing with executives, engineers, and business stakeholders
  • Knowledge of industry frameworks: NIST CSF, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Benchmarks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC GSLC, or relevant leadership-focused credentials
  • Experience managing security environments
  • Familiarity with modern security architecture principles (e.g., Zero Trust)
  • Experience with risk management, vendor security reviews, or security budgeting
Why NOV?
  • Lead a global security team protecting critical infrastructure in a dynamic and evolving threat landscape
  • Protect systems, data, and IP critical to the world’s industrial supply chain
  • Influence the security direction of IT, OT, cloud, and digital business systems
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and technical peers to drive meaningful risk reduction
