A leading global adhesives company is seeking a Quality Manager located in Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, along with at least 10 years of quality management experience. Responsibilities include ensuring production efficiency, leading quality improvement initiatives, and applying quality tools. Position Title:
Position Location: Guangzhou, China
Primary Duties:
  1. Ensure production SOP is designed to balance formulation, equipment capability, quality standard to get cost more efficient and competitive.
  2. Lead process and quality team to improve system management, quality specifications, equipment utilization.
  3. Involve all CAPEX project’ analysis for future new projects on EHS, maintain, growth and others.
  4. Optimize the resource and implemented plan improvement, reducing the plant’ monthly expenditure while maintaining the productivity.
  5. Implement lean methodology and data analysis, resolve the waste in the plants. Lead the plant to embrace the lead production to improve the manufacturing cost.
  6. Established lean production system and culture in the plant and lead cross-functional teams in the plant to complete many breakthrough projects.
Minimum Requirement:
  • Bachelor or above, prefer major in chemistry or related.
  • Minimum 10 years quality work experience.
  • Experience with quality tools (QC 7 tools, 8D, MSA, SPC etc.).
  • Solid understanding of standards (IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001).
  • Fluency in English & Chinese.
  • Work hard & be responsible, self-motivated.
  • Excellent analytical skills and conflict resolution skills.
  • Good management & communication ability.
  • Outgoing, results and execution oriented.
  • Good Team player.
