Position Summary:

The Business Solutions Representative is responsible for developing and servicing a portfolio of clients (Agents) in our Philippines market. This involves telephone visits, generating commercial relationships to negotiate increased shipping volume and profitability for Viamericas.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent service and solutions to incoming and outgoing calls
  • Conduct and document telephone visits within the assigned territory
  • Monitor pricing strategies
  • Follow up on inactive agencies
  • Create business plans
  • Prospect for new business opportunities
  • Prepare competition reports
  • Support field staff with service and assistance
  • Complete installation of new agencies
  • Develop new agents
  • Maintain and grow transaction volume and profitability within the territory
  • Manage and expand the portfolio of agencies
  • Address and resolve issues reported by agents and staff
  • Maintain absolute availability
  • Work effectively as part of a team

Qualifications:

  • Fully bilingual in Tagalog and Spanish
  • Must possess a US visa, as frequent travel to the US is required
  • Understanding of the sales cycle with the ability to close deals
  • Proficient in prospecting, closing, following up, and negotiating
