Se necesita una licenciatura en Ingeniería y más de 3 años de experiencia en análisis de datos. El candidato ideal tiene habilidades en Microsoft Office, herramientas de visualización y SQL. Se ofrece un puesto a tiempo completo con salario entre 25,000 y 35,000 MXN mensuales y la opción de trabajar en remoto con viajes ocasionales.

Overview

Business Intelligence Analyst DC Logistics, Llc • Monterrey, Nuevo León, México

Descripción del trabajo: DC Logistics is a private equity backed, LTL transportation and 3PL services company with locations in California, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Louisiana, and Texas. The Revenue & Pricing Lead at DC Logistics is a hands-on role responsible for managing Revenue.

Position Details

• Full time
• Monday - Friday 8 hour schedule
• Salary: 25,000–35,000 MXN a month
• Reporting to: Revenue & Capacity Management Director; Support CFO, COO
• Part of the Finance organization
• Location: Remote (Monterrey, Mexico) with frequent travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in consulting, continuous improvement, data analytics or similar
• MBA (desired)
• Proficient in English
• VISA to attend business meetings at USA Office

Skills

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently; Spanish a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to travel
• Understanding basic finance concepts, specifically the P&L
• Solid experience working with cross-functional teams
• Extremely organized with great attention to detail
• Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically
• Strong business analysis skills
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and translate them into projects
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Power Point)
• Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau preferred)
• Experience with SQL
• (Desired) Experience with ETL processes and tools (FiveTran, Talend, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
• (Desired) Experience with Data Integration Tools a plus (Boomi, MuleSoft, Celigo, etc.)

Responsibilities

1. Managing Data

• Gather data from a variety of sources including internally, industry and field reports, public information, or purchased sources
• Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, assessing quality of data and removing or cleaning data

Reporting Visibility

• Generate automatic dashboards/scorecards to present to different levels in the organization
• Maintain key stakeholders informed (Content, frequency, channel, and audience)
• Generate information and insights from data sets
• When needed, propose ways to solve problems identifying root cause
• Summarize operational, financial, and economic insights for review by executives, managers, clients, and stakeholders

Implementing KPIs

• Implement and monitor sales, operations, and financial KPIs in different dimensions such as transportation, warehouse, people, etc.

Performance Improvement

• Document processes and develop improvement procedures to enhance operations, increase capacity and implement efficiencies
• Monitor our competitors, economic conditions, and the logistics market to maintain an understanding of the demand/supply dynamics
• Identify revenue growth opportunities and drive strategies based on recommendations
• For example, create novel pricing tactics or provide the business case for capacity investments
• Create forward looking projections to identify improvement opportunities and anticipate potential deviations

Execute Strategic Projects (On case basis)

• Support the M&A process by identifying operational synergies, assessing their value, and making strategic business recommendations
• Participate in the technology implementation process to ensure business objectives are met and the data integrity
• Work closely with Fleet Manager to execute correct equipment allocation
• Performs other related duties as assigned
