Backend Software Developer – C# (Remote - Mexico Only). Location: Queretaro, Mexico. About the Role

Join the Incentives Development team as a Software Developer contributing to the Varicent Incentives platform – a single-page web app. You’ll collaborate with developers, designers, and data scientists to build modern, scalable features and deliver exceptional user experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and refine features to support client success and platform growth
• Collaborate in a cross-functional, knowledge-sharing team
• Work with modern tools and open-source technologies where applicable
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain robust code

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related
• 1+ years of professional experience
• Strong understanding of software design principles and OOP
• Proficiency with React, Redux, .NET or Java, and TypeScript
• Experience with REST APIs and single-page applications
• Strong communication skills and English level B2 or higher
• Team player mindset with a drive to learn and grow
• Based in Mexico

Note: This role requires employees to work within Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours. Remote candidates are welcome but must align with EST for collaboration. The position is fully remote with a results-driven culture.

First 90 Days Milestones

• First 30 days: learn development process, codebase, standards, and tools; participate in team meetings; complete small tasks or bug fixes to demonstrate coding ability.
• First 60 days: gain independence, tackle more complex features or modules, improve troubleshooting, adhere to coding standards, and participate in code reviews.
• First 90 days: meet project deadlines, continue learning about new technologies, propose process improvements, and contribute to team success.
