Automotive HIL Engineer – Automotive Sector (Relocation Poland)

We are currently working with an IT services company partner that provides solutions in automotive embedded and telecom sectors.

What you will do

• Design develop and maintain HIL rigs at component and domain levels.
• Lead integration efforts across multiple product areas.
• Commission, configure, and validate HIL test objects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues including wiring harnesses and simulation elements.
• Manage ECU updates and component configurations.
• Develop and refine network simulations (gateways, signal manipulation, etc.).
• Execute manual software downloads for core ECUs.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics or a related field.
• 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in electronic systems development (hardware & software).
• Hands‑on experience with HIL and automated test systems using Vector tools.
• Proficiency in Python and CAPL for scripting and automation.
• Deep understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Skilled in CANoe for simulation and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Vector hardware components:
  • VT System modules (VT RT Modules, VT cards)
  • RT Rack and compatible I/O boards
  • Vector Network Interface cards
  • Power supply units and control systems

Preferred

• Experience with domains such as Doors, Sunroof, Trailer modules, or Exterior Lighting/Interior System domains.
