About the Job
The KidsOnly Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the KidsOnly operation, ensuring customer satisfaction (internal and external), financial performance, and employee relations. They supervise the training of all KidsOnly employees and motivate them to perform their jobs effectively.
- Responsible for ensuring that KidsOnly is in compliance with all systems, control policies and procedures.
- Monitor and control payroll and other expenses.
- Development and monitoring of the KidsOnly minimum and maximum material, amenities and crafts needs.
- Assume Manager on Duty shifts and assign shifts to Coordinators.
- Develop and maintain open lines of communication within the department and with other departments within the Resort.
- Resolve guest problems expediently and in a professional manner.
- Ensure exceptional guest service is delivered at KidsOnly.
- Conduct quarterly KidsOnly meetings.
- Schedule staff to reflect daily occupancy and make sure schedule is concurrent with the arrival and departure pattern.
- Attend required meetings as a representative of KidsOnly.
- Handle disciplinary action, coaching and counseling sessions and related personnel issues.
- Must ensure that all equipment assigned to KidsOnly is operable and clean at all times.
- Follow up to all maintenance orders with Maintenance and Housekeeping departments.
- Review daily log books to ensure the correct follow up of all pending issues.
- Personally ensure that daily activities calendar is follow through to completion.
- Personal greeting of all children between the ages of 4 and 12 at the Porte Cochere upon arrival.
- Responsible for making all invitations with a week anticipation to ensure that all kids arriving receive it upon arrival to the resort.
- Daily planning and conducting of Department Line-ups to comment on opportunity areas any all relevant issues that are happening in the day to day operation.
- Weekly revision of Preference Planners to plan all special requests for future children and making sure that all information is recorded in Opera.
- Daily Supervision of staff to ensure a perfect grooming which includes : uniform, shoes, name tag, hair cut, make up and jewelry.
- Supervise that all the Front Areas are clean and organized work stations.
- Ensure that all staff makes a correct use of telephone etiquette.
- Must supervise that both children check in and check out procedures to KidsOnly are followed properly according to our standards.
- Must properly handle all guest complaints giving a prompt and satisfactory solution.
- Supervise smooth and proper turn shifts.
About You
