A global confectionery company is seeking an Accounting Analyst to ensure accurate and complete financial transaction recordings across operations in the Americas. You will manage journal entries and reconciliations while contributing to process improvements in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting and at least 2 years of experience in accounting, alongside strong skills in SAP FI and Microsoft Excel.

About the Role

At Hershey, we are seeking an Accounting Analyst to ensure the accurate and complete recording of financial transactions across our operations in the Americas. This role is critical to maintaining financial integrity and compliance with international accounting standards.

You will be responsible for managing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting audits, while also contributing to process improvements and KPI tracking. This is a dynamic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and make a meaningful impact on our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and record accounting activities in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and reserves.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing and delivering required documentation.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and monitor key performance indicators.
• Integrate general ledger (GL) accounts and prepare tax-related files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in SAP FI, GAAP, and IFRS.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as S4 HANA, SAP, or Oracle is a plus.
