About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and operationalization of agentic AI solutions using the Microsoft ecosystem. This role will be instrumental in driving automation, accelerating digital transformation, and enabling scalable AI capabilities across the organization.

As a senior engineer, you will build robust orchestration pipelines, implement governance frameworks, and deploy enterprise‑grade AI services leveraging Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft’s AI tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and operationalize agentic AI solutions using the Microsoft AI and Copilot framework.
• Develop intelligent agents leveraging Azure OpenAI, including prompt engineering, model selection, grounding, RAG, and safety mechanisms.
• Build orchestration workflows integrating AI agents with business systems, APIs, and automation tools (Power Platform, Logic Apps, etc.).
• Use Copilot Studio to create custom copilots and extend capabilities via plugins, connectors, and data integrations.
• Establish and enforce AI governance, including security, compliance, monitoring, risk management, and lifecycle management.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams (IT, Data, Cybersecurity, Operations) to ensure alignment and scalable deployment.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement for AI automation standards and frameworks.
• Mentor engineers and champion responsible AI adoption across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in automation or cloud‑based development.
• 2+ years of experience in AI engineering.
• Proven experience implementing Microsoft AI frameworks, custom copilots, or agentic systems.
• Deep hands‑on experience with Azure OpenAI Service (GPT models, fine‑tuning, safety, embeddings).
• Strong experience with Copilot Studio (custom copilots, orchestrations, connectors).
• Expertise in designing orchestration workflows using Power Platform, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (Responsible AI, data governance, auditing, monitoring).
• Proficiency in Python, C#, or PowerFX, and experience integrating AI with enterprise systems and APIs.
• Strong architectural thinking, problem‑solving skills, and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications related to AI, Azure, or Power Platform.
• Experience with vector stores, RAG pipelines, and enterprise data integration.
• Background in MLOps, AIOps, or intelligent automation (RPA + AI).
• Experience scaling AI solutions in production environments.
