Overview

By joining our Personal Risk Services (PRS) team as a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in a high-visibility, large-scale initiative focused on modernizing a key policy administration system for our personal lines business. You’ll leverage your deep technical and agile project management expertise to build relationships across business and technical teams as they develop and enhance a growing product line for boats/yachts. You’ll coach the team with your agile knowledge, guide the agile ceremonies, develop and manage financials and related metrics for your projects, tapping into your organizational and technical expertise to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You’ll have the opportunity to bring your ideas to the table, improving processes to meet the needs of our business partners.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple and concurrent technical projects with a focus on enhancing the product and integrating it with premium booking systems and other downstream systems key to our business.
  • Develop, implement, and manage project roadmaps to align and evolve with key business objectives.
  • Serve as Scrum Master to your teams, implementing and guiding agile processes that ensure successful project delivery.
  • Draft and manage communications, documentation, and reporting mechanisms that provide both a resource repository and regular updates to key leaders and stakeholders.
  • Develop, track, and manage project budget, scope, timelines, and metrics for projects under your purview.
  • Partner with your product owner to define value, ensure that the whole team delivers on that value, and inspire continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
  • 10 years of IT project management experience required; insurance experience, specifically Personal Lines, experience is a huge plus.
  • Proven, successful Agile execution practices.
  • Deep technical background with managing application development projects from concept to completion.
  • Able to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with peers and management.
  • Demonstrated experience with stakeholder management, problem solving, decision making and leading by influence.
  • Proven advanced experience with project management tools such as Clarity, Jira, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Industry certifications including PMI, Agile, SCRUM is a plus.
