Job Description

In this role, you will impact our NPI & Special Projects manufacturing operations by optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives like Kanban, Plan for parts, automation solutions, contributing to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality. Your expertise will help us stay at the forefront of advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure that we deliver innovative and high-quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee HON IGS NPI's projects and advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Mechanical/ Electromechanical Engineering, electronic Engineering science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• At least 1 year of experience in advanced manufacturing or process optimization in the sheet metal Industry like Aerospace, metal mechanic Industry, etc.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, mechanical assemblies such as automation and robotics.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical process control.
• Proficiency in CAD, Solidworks, software and familiarity with manufacturing execution systems.
• BOM's configuration, routings, and Oracle system is a plus.
• Experience in conducting NPI pilot runs.
