Responsibilities:
Operational Support
- Assist in day‑to‑day logistics operations, including managing client communications, coordinating transportation schedules, and preparing quotes.
- Perform data entry and ensure accurate documentation of shipments, invoices, and customer records.
- Support the billing process by compiling necessary documents and ensuring timely invoicing.
- Potentially help with operations‑related tasks, learning about various areas of the business to support Renata.
Marketing & Content Creation
- Design visual content using Canva, such as social media posts, flyers, presentations, and marketing materials that align with our brand identity.
- Assist with content writing for website pages, blog posts, and social media content.
Administrative Duties
- Organize and improve the company’s digital filing system for better efficiency.
- Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and calls, ensuring optimal time management for the team.
- Conduct research on market trends, industry competitors, and potential new clients, especially within federal‑funded projects.
Project & Business Development Support
- Support the development and refinement of our business plan, including market research, competitive analysis, and financial forecasting.
- Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for prospective clients and partners.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Canva for creating marketing and design assets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and openness to working with AI tools.
Nice to have
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, customer service, or marketing is a plus.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
