About the role

Ready to dive into the financial engine room of one of the world's leading creative marketplaces? We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable (AR)/Accounts Payable (AP) Officer to be a core part of our Finance team. While your primary focus will be on ensuring our customers' accounts are running smoothly and that we're paid on time, you'll also get stuck into Payable tasks and process improvements.

This isn’t just about numbers; you’ll be a vital link between Finance and the rest of the business—Sales, Legal, and Tech—ensuring a smooth journey for our valued customers and vendors. Based in Mexico, you'll be working directly with our team in Melbourne, Australia, bringing your sharp accuracy and ‘can‑do’ attitude to a fast‑paced, scaling global business. What you’ll be doing

• Be the primary owner for Accounts Receivable, ensuring prompt creation and dispatch of customer invoices.
• Monitor bank accounts daily and manage our shared finance inbox, handling customer queries like a pro.
• Proactively send reminders for invoices that are close to due or overdue, keeping our cash flow healthy.
• Liaise across departments (Sales, Legal, etc.) to get new vendors and customers set up correctly and efficiently.
• Support the Financial Accounting team by performing a variety of day‑to‑day administrative duties and special projects.
• Jump into Accounts Payable tasks, which include processing supplier invoices, credit notes, and staff reimbursements.
• Assist with scheduled payments (EFT, wire transfers, PayPal) and help manage the Supplier Masterfile.
• Review and audit submitted expense reports and assist with corporate credit card reconciliations.
• Be a champion for process improvement, helping the team grow and scale our finance operations.

About you

• You’ve got 5+ years of solid experience in an Accounts Receivable role, with a bonus knowledge of Payables.
• You’re super accurate—we’re talking high-level attention to detail—and you thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Your written and verbal English communication skills are strong, clear, and professional.
• You’re flexible, adaptable, and a genuine problem‑solver who can handle change in a remote, multinational setting.
• You’re already comfortable navigating a medium to large ERP system; experience with Workday would be a plus!
• You’re a collaborative team player who works efficiently to meet both individual and group goals.
• You approach every task with a positive, ‘can‑do’ attitude and operate with integrity and transparency.
• You know your way around Excel and can use it effectively to manage and analyse data.
