What You'll Do:

Lubrizol is seeking an entrepreneurial Account Manager – Engineered Polymers to drive growth across North America and Latin America in our Estane TPU business. This role will oversee key accounts throughout both regions, including managing distributor relationships in Mexico. Combining business development with account management, the position requires a consultative, solutions‑focused approach to build strategic partnerships with industrial and medical customers. You will act as a subject matter expert, identify new opportunities, and manage critical accounts to deliver profitable growth.

What We're Looking For:
  • Manage and grow existing accounts in medical and industrial TPU markets.
  • Develop and execute account strategies and manage key customer programs.
  • Build, manage, and close a strong pipeline of opportunities at existing and new accounts.
  • Own distributor relationships and performance in Mexico.
  • Educate clients on industry trends through presentations and training.
  • Build deep relationships across customer organizations and monitor competitive activity.
  • Recommend product mix, pricing, sourcing, and supply improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximize new business opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to sales interns.
  • Maintain extensive face‑to‑face engagement with customers.
Skills That Make a Difference:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
  • Proven track record as a true hunter, consistently driving new business development and aggressively pursuing opportunities to expand market share.
  • Minimum 6+ years of sales experience, preferably in technical or engineering environments.
  • Proven success in B2B sales with strong relationship‑building skills.
  • Knowledge of technical/engineering sales processes preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Preferred experience in polymers, chemicals, or medical device markets.
  • Ability to manage global accounts and distributor relationships.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%).
