A leading data analytics company is seeking an Account Executive in Mexico City responsible for direct solution sales to enterprise accounts. You will focus on the financial sector and develop partnerships to drive business. Candidates should have over 8 years of experience in software and services sales, particularly in data management and analytics. Strong leadership skills and the ability to engage C-Suite leaders are essential.

Formación

  • 8+ years’ experience in selling software & services in data management and advanced analytics.
  • Success in developing accounts and selling to C-Suite leaders.
  • Technical knowledge of cloud, databases, and AI is necessary.

What You'll Do

The Account Executive is responsible for direct solution sales (orders and revenue) into an assigned Enterprise or Commercial account(s). The person is responsible for the profitable sales of Teradata solution portfolio products including software, hardware, professional services, and support services. Specific solutions to be sold depend on industry segment.

  • Capitalize on industry knowledge and contacts to uncover opportunities within your assigned account(s).
  • Focus for Mexico Financial Sector as well as Governement institutions.
  • This position is aimed to develop and activate a network of partners to jointly develop opportunities on the Public and Private Sector
  • Effectively advise and influence customers and Partners through consultative selling techniques
  • Research the customer environment to be able to populate the business impact model
  • Articulate the solution in terms of ROI and TCO to the customer
  • Utilize team members including post-sale delivery professionals, pre-sale technical professionals, and management to achieve business objectives and mature sales cycles
  • Rely on excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to initiate and maintain executive-level interaction and customer satisfaction
  • Develop new business opportunities and close new account business
  • Close profitable TERADATA scalable hybrid data hub (datawarehouse, data lake and data lakehouse) solutions business incorporating hardware, software, professional services, and customer services
  • Understand and articulate the value of Teradata Professional Services

This position is working in a virtual office environment, including home office & customer site. A combination of independent work and team collaboration will be required.

You will work with post-sale delivery professionals, pre-sale technical professionals, and management.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
  • 8+ years’ experience in selling software & services specifically in the data management and Advanced Analytics space. Some Technical knowledge of cloud and databases, Analytcs and Artificial Intelligence is necessary (other applicable includes ERP sales, Data Transformation and Governance sales).
  • Demonstrated success developing new account opportunities and selling into various C-Suite leaders.
  • Previous experience selling data management advanced analytics and artificial intelligence.
What You Will Bring
  • A successful candidate should be driven, creative, a self-starter and strategic thinker. The candidate must possess the ability to lead, advise and advocate for customers. Ideal candidate would have intimate knowledge/experience that directly resonates with accounts such as Monex, Actinver, Banregio, Banorte, Imbursa.
  • Technical skills to be able to run demos with customers is a plus
