ALTEN México, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Lead to join our team. With a dynamic presence across various industries, including Automotive, Energy, and Aeronautics, we pride ourselves on delivering innovative engineering solutions and support.

As the HVAC Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of HVAC systems across multiple projects. You will play a key role in ensuring that systems meet all performance, safety, and regulatory standards while managing project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of HVAC systems in both clean and non-classified areas.
  • Plan, coordinate, supervise, and control all activities related to HVAC, from detailed engineering review to commissioning and project handover, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with air quality, temperature, humidity, and differential pressure requirements. For classified areas, meet FEUM, NOM-059, ISPE, and Sanofi standards.
  • Ensure appropriate selection of HVAC equipment and components.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications and drawings for installation and maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Coordinate installation and commissioning activities with other engineering teams, contractors, maintenance personnel, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee documentation related to HVAC systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Supervise work execution, maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage human and material resources efficiently for HVAC tasks.
  • Participate in commissioning, qualification, and validation tests, supporting qualification and validation groups, engineering, and maintenance for successful startup and knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure generation and availability of all technical documentation (plans, diagrams, specifications) and facilitate successful handover to end-users through training and information transfer.
  • Participate in decision-making regarding HVAC system management, considering technical, economic, and regulatory aspects.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable national and international regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Technical experience in HVAC systems, especially clean areas for the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in reviewing and understanding technical documentation (calculation reports, engineering documents, diagrams, specifications, etc.), as well as installation and commissioning of HVAC systems in the pharmaceutical sector.
