Scope of the Role
We’re seeking a TikTok Video Editor to bring the brand’s voice, product lifestyle, and community energy to life through short-form video. You’ll transform raw footage, influencer content, product demos, and lifestyle storytelling into fast-paced, scroll-stopping TikToks that drive engagement, build brand affinity, and support conversion-based ad campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw and refined footage into TikToks optimized for the platform: vertical formats, sound-on/off viewing, fast cuts, captions, and trend-responsive hooks
- Build multiple versions of each video for ad testing and organic posting (e.g., hero ad, behind-the-scenes cut, UGC remix, lifestyle cut)
- Work closely with Creative Strategist and Performance Marketing teams to translate campaign briefs into high-impact video variants
- Integrate motion graphics, text overlays, and sound design to match the brand’s clean, elevated aesthetic
- Maintain a library of raw and edited video assets, organized by campaign, theme, and format
- Stay current on TikTok trends, transitions, editing styles, and best practices—proposing new creative formats and editing experiments
- Collaborate with social media and influencer teams to repurpose long-form or user-generated content into TikTok-ready formats
- Support A/B testing of creative hooks, intro styles, captions, and CTAs; iterate quickly based on performance feedback
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for activewear, lifestyle brands, or digitally native fashion
- Familiarity with performance marketing and creative testing strategies
- Experience working with influencer content or social-first campaigns
- 1–3 years of experience editing short-form, vertical video—especially TikTok or Instagram Reels for brands or social campaigns
- Proficiency in mobile-first or fast editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro + After Effects, CapCut, Premiere Rush, Final Cut Pro)
- Strong sense of pacing, timing, and how to grab attention in the first 3 seconds
- Comfortable remixing UGC or influencer content into branded formats that still feel native and authentic
- Creative instincts for using transitions, quick cuts, text overlays, and audio to enhance storytelling
- Detail-oriented with strong asset management and version control (you’ll often produce 4–6 versions of a single TikTok)
- Collaborative working style—able to take briefs, feedback, and performance data, then iterate quickly
