Ferrero is seeking an agile, visionary, and hands‑on IT Architect to drive Digital Consumer Innovation and Emerging Technologies across our Consumer IT landscape. In this pivotal role within our global Consumer Technology Center of Excellence, you will shape the future of consumer‑facing solutions by scouting, designing, and prototyping cutting‑edge technologies – with a strong focus on Generative AI, Mobile App development, and rapid prototyping of innovative digital experiences.

As an IT Architect, you will drive Ferrero’s digital transformation and shape innovative consumer experiences. Your mission: explore emerging tech, design future‑ready architectures, and bring ideas to life.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Digital Innovation: Scout trends and technologies like Generative AI, immersive experiences, edge computing, and modern web/mobile frameworks. Turn insights into actionable solutions.
• Prototype & Experiment: Build PoCs and prototypes, ideally with hands‑on coding (JavaScript, Python, mobile frameworks). Collaborate with Marketing, Data Science, and UX teams in an agile way.
• Evolve Mobile Experiences: Define the architecture and roadmap for Ferrero’s ApplayDu app. Ensure scalability, quality, and continuous feature innovation.
• Integrate AI: Embed Generative AI tools and APIs into consumer apps. Champion responsible AI adoption for personalization and automation.
• Design Scalable Architectures: Create modular, future‑ready solutions that connect front‑end, APIs, and back‑end systems seamlessly.
• Coordinate Partners: Lead external vendors and system integrators, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with Ferrero’s principles.
• Collaborate Globally: Work with cross‑functional teams and regional units to balance local needs with global strategy.
• Support & Improve: Oversee technical handovers, manage upgrades, and drive continuous improvement using analytics and feedback.

• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern QA practices.
• Passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing in cloud‑native, AI/ML, and mobile platforms.

You hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and advanced certifications in cloud, mobile, or AI are a plus. You bring at least five years of experience in IT or solution architecture, ideally within digital or consumer‑facing environments. You’re comfortable designing and prototyping solutions using modern technologies such as React Native, Flutter, Node.js, Python, and cloud services, and you have proven experience with mobile apps, especially those focused on consumer engagement or gamification.

You’re familiar with cloud platforms like Microsoft and AWS, API‑driven integration, and microservices. Innovation excites you—you learn fast and stay curious about emerging technologies like AI, edge computing, and AR/VR. Collaboration comes naturally, and you communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences. You thrive in cross‑functional teams, manage vendors effectively, and take ownership of projects with a proactive mindset.

You’re resilient, goal‑oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects in a fast‑paced global environment. Working in international and multicultural settings feels natural to you. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in Italian or German is a plus.
