Job summary

A leading digital services company in Tuscany is seeking a Head of AI & DataPlatform to oversee the enterprise-wide data and AI platform infrastructure. The successful candidate will need to have extensive experience in AI/ML, proven leadership capabilities, and a strong technical background in cloud architectures and data engineering. This role is key in driving the company's technology strategy and ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in AI / ML or Data Engineering, with 4+ years in a leadership role managing a team.
  • Proven track record building and scaling enterprise-grade data and AI platforms.
  • Strong experience in cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Deep knowledge of modern data architectures (lakehouse, data mesh).
  • Hands-on experience with data engineering, MLOps (e.g., MLFlow, Kubeflow).
  • Strong foundation in DevOps, CI / CD, IaC, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the integrated platform strategy for AI & Data.
  • Oversee the architecture and delivery of a modern AI & data platform.
  • Drive the implementation of standardized processes for platform reliability.
  • Partner closely with AI / ML, data science, product, and IT teams.
  • Build and retain a high-performing team across the three sub-domains.
