A leading global technology company is looking for a Transportation Solutions Software Engineer in Florence, Italy. The candidate will be part of a team focused on the design and development of Transportation solutions with a strong emphasis on digital technologies. Responsibilities include system specification, software design, and collaborating on R&T projects. A minimum of 3 years in the field and strong interpersonal skills are required. Knowledge of Python, C/C++ and Agile methodologies will be beneficial.

Competenze

• At least 3 years’ professional experience in the design/development of Transportation Solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A good knowledge of English language is mandatory.

Mansioni

• Participate in the specification of the functions and interfaces of systems/products.
• Analyze and design the development of software systems.
• Document code consistently throughout the development process.
• Develop and analyze projects to yield more cost-effective products.
• Support the preparation of R&T technical proposals.

Conoscenze

Experience in digital technologies

Experience in mathematics, statistics and relevant processing techniques

Knowledge of Autonomous Driving

Knowledge of Visual tracking and tracking algorithms

Knowledge of Image and video processing

Knowledge of Embedded software design and development

Experience in Agile approach for product development

Ability to take a problem algorithm and develop appropriate source code

Experience in multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux)

Strong capability to work with local and international software development teams

Strumenti

Knowledge of MatLab tool

Knowledge of Python and/or C/C++ programming languages

Knowledge of Qt Framework

Knowledge of Requirements Management tools (DOORS)
