Factory Order Manager - power transformers
Job summary
A global energy company seeks a Factory Order Manager in Trento, Italy. This role involves overseeing orders for medium power transformers, ensuring exceptional service to clients, managing project risks, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Candidates should have a degree in engineering, relevant experience, and proficiency in English and Italian. The position offers a hybrid work model, blending remote and office work.
Qualifications
- Recent graduates with internship experience in technical or industrial environments are encouraged to apply.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Project Manager or Order Manager within a manufacturing company is preferred.
- Proficiency in both English and Italian at a business level; knowledge of German is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Analyze technical and contractual information throughout the order life cycle.
- Control execution of the schedule and manage technical documents.
- Perform project risks analysis and coordinate mitigation actions.
- Maintain effective communication with customers and factory team members.
- Coordinate kick-off meetings, design reviews, and inspections.
- Manage project costs, time, and customer satisfaction.

Join our dynamic team as you take charge of providing exceptional services to our valued clients! As a Factory Order manager, you will lead medium power transformers’orders and will be the point of contact for our customers all around the world as well as for all factory’s customers. You are also responsible for order results, partner’ management, and the successful management of complaints as well as project risks and opportunities.
- Analyze the technical and contractual information of the order and carry any required clarification either internally or externally with the customer throughout the order life cycle;
- Control and actively influence the execution of the forecasted schedule by means of a close control and follow up of technical and quality documents issuance and approval, purchase of materials, production, testing, shipping, and commissioning up to the end of the warranty period;
- Proactively perform and handle the project risks analysis and coordinate mitigation or preventive actions;
- Keep a constant efficient communication with the customers and factory’s team members;
- Coordinate with the clients meetings or factory visits for kick off meetings, design reviews, inspections, factory acceptance tests, shipment, and commissioning coordination;
- Handle project costs, time and scope keeping close track of customer satisfaction and your organization’s expected results;
- Academic background in electrical, mechanical or management engineering.
- Either recent graduates with internship experience in technical or industrial environments or candidates with 1–2 years of experience as a Project Manager or Order Manager within a manufacturing company.
- Proficiency in both English and Italian at a business level; knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Adapts quickly and effectively to change and complexity in dynamic environments
- Good collaboration and time management skills;
- Availability to travel regularly for business trip, national and international
