Responsibilities

• Understand complex computer systems and cybersecurity terminology.
• Determine testing requirements, including the number and type of systems and testing methodologies.
• Plan and develop penetration testing methods, scripts, and procedures.
• Simulate security breaches to evaluate system security.
• Generate reports with findings, security issues, and risk assessments.
• Recommend mitigation strategies to reduce security risks.
• Present findings, risks, and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Assess the business impact of simulated attacks on operations and users.
• Understand how identified vulnerabilities could affect business functions if unaddressed.

Your Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

• Master's degree with distinction in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of IT security issues, management systems (ISO 27001), and data protection.
• 2-5 years of experience in information security and IT risk management.
• Strong understanding of current IT risks, security implementations, and software systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
