Wholesale Sales Manager Italy (Milan)

At Muuto, we’re looking for a Wholesale Sales Manager for Italy based in Milan to strengthen our team. You need to have a very good network in the local wholesale scene and therefore be based in Milan with an experience of at least 3-5 years’ in a similar role. Together with the Regional Sales Manager and the adjacent teams, you’ll work towards broadening our footprint in the Italian market.

Your responsibilities

Develop and grow the existing Italian wholesales market to reach our sales targets defined with the Regional Sales Manager

Structured development and maintenance of wholesale customer and dealer networks

Acquisition of new dealers following the plan agreed with the Regional Sales Manager

Tap into your network to use leverage effects of network sales

Sell-in and implementation of in-store solutions, as well as novelties

Collaborate with internal teams and your sales colleagues to reach our overall growth objectives

Support in the management of Milano showroom, maintenance tasks and during events

Your profile

Minimum 3 years’ experience of as Sales or Key Account Manager, ideally in the Italian retail furniture market (or experience from adjacent roles in architecture / design)

Extensive experience working with the Retail design sector and a well-established, professional dealer network in Italy.

Degree in Business, Marketing or similar preferred

Ability to act independently, self-driven and results-oriented

Mature, credible, and comfortable in presenting in a professional environment on all levels

Strong acquisition, negotiating and closing skills, paired with effective time management

Fluent Italian and professional level of English, verbal and written

Willingness for frequent business travels within Italy and occasional international trips

Driver’s license
