The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in Power BI, strong SQL skills, and experience with Azure tools. Fluent English is required, and the position is fully remote.

Open position: Senior Power BI Engineer

To strengthen our international team, we are seeking a Senior Power BI Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise‑grade analytics and reporting solutions built on the Azure Data Platform (Power BI, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps) for one of our Clients.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver scalable, high‑performance Power BI datasets and reports using Databricks (Gold layer) and SQL‑based metadata.

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into efficient, maintainable Power BI solutions.

Optimize large‑scale data models and refresh pipelines through incremental refresh, partitioning, and query folding.

Maintain and enhance Azure Data Factory pipelines, Azure Functions, and YAML‑based CI/CD processes in Azure DevOps to support automated testing and deployment.

Ensure data quality, security (RLS), and governance across the Power BI ecosystem.

Work collaboratively within across‑functional team, actively contributing to shared goals and supporting peers in solving technical and analytical challenges.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in Power BI development (data modeling, DAX, performance tuning, visualization).

Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines).

Excellent SQL skills and understanding of metadata‑driven modeling.

Proven ability to work across business and technical teams, supporting requirement definition and solution design.

Experience with Databricks and PySpark is a significant advantage and will help integrate reporting with upstream data transformations.

Strong team player with excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and collaborative approach.

Fluency in English.
