A technology company in Pisa is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead the development of its Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) business. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in business development, especially in SHM, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. This role involves engaging with clients globally, defining market strategies, and leading contracts to achieve revenue targets.
Hexagon’s Geosystems division provides a comprehensive portfolio of digital solutions that capture, measure, and visualize the physical world and enable data-driven transformation across industry ecosystems. We are now entering the Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) segment with a disruptive new radar product designed to set a milestone in the sector, particularly for bridge monitoring (both static and dynamic).
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead this strategic initiative and build the SHM business from the ground up. We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial professional with a strong background in business development or sales within the SHM sensor technology space. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new market, define its direction, and position one of our Division as a trusted player in the SHM space.

The candidate has a deep understanding of structural and deformation monitoring and is comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels—from technical teams to corporate decision-makers. You bring strategic thinking, leadership, and relationship-building skills that allow you to identify opportunities, forge meaningful partnerships, and drive sustainable growth. Your activity will involve direct engagement with clients operating in the SHM sector, identifying their needs, and positioning our new radar solution as a disruptive, contactless technology—especially in bridge monitoring. This role requires a dynamic professional with exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills to identify opportunities, forge partnerships, and achieve sustainable business growth on a global scale.
