Overview

Nurse (functional title: Research Nurse) in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref. 533076). This is a one-year temporary appointment with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Responsibilities

• Support an Asthma Education Project and liaise with various parties to carry out assigned projects.
• Collect patient data and provide patient education (home visits or via Zoom).
• Conduct investigative tests (e.g., paediatric lung function, skin prick test) with coaching provided.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and registration with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
• Clinical and research experience, preferably with young children and their families.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; fluency in Cantonese.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
