An international agency seeks a skilled Web GIS Developer to enhance its GIS capabilities. The role involves developing a web portal using open-source technologies and ensuring data integration for effective project management. Successful candidates will demonstrate over 5 years of Web GIS experience, proficiency in PostgreSQL, and familiarity with various front-end GIS libraries. Excellent English communication skills are essential. This is a remote position based in Italy.

Competenze

• Proven experience of at least 5 years in Web GIS.
• Proven experience and knowledge of PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
• Experience with front-end GIS libraries.
• Experience in JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of OGC-compliant Web Services.
• Good knowledge of responsive frameworks.
• Ability to produce technical documentation.

Mansioni

• Get familiar with the current GIS infrastructure.
• Assist in the development and implementation of web portal.
• Develop the front-end web GIS portal.
• Advise on data structure and setup of environments.
• Mitigate security vulnerabilities of the web portal.
