A global manufacturing leader in Italy seeks a Finance & Administration Manager to oversee financial operations and drive strategic decision-making. The role requires 4+ years of experience in finance leadership and expertise in Italian GAAP. The successful candidate will liaise between local operations and the European HQ, ensuring compliance and operational excellence. Strong communication in both Italian and English is mandatory. Offering a hybrid working model (WFH up to 2 days/week).

Finance & Administration Manager

Do you enjoy leading and motivating a team whilst also playing a hands-on role within finance?

This global leader is searching for a well-rounded Finance Supervisor / Manager / Team Leader with proven experience working to Italian GAAP standards.

A global manufacturer that has witnessed significant growth across key markets. In line with their expansion into new territories, they wish to recruit a Finance & Accounting Supervisor to lead an ambitious and motivated team.

WFH : Up to 2 days per week

As the Supervisor / Team Leader for the Finance & Administration department you will be responsible for :

Overseeing and driving the financial and administrative operations of the Italian business, ensuring operational performance across finance, administration and HR.

Acting as the interface between the local operations and the European HQ, ensuring alignment with global standards whilst adapting to local country needs.

Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with Italian GAAP.

Managing budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Financial reporting, allowing the business to monitor cash flow, working capital and financial KPIs to ensure financial health and transparency across the group.

Overseeing the local administration function which is responsible for legal, HR and contract administration.

Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, local labour law and corporate policies.

The successful candidate will possess at least 4 years' experience in a finance leadership / Accounting management role and be knowledgeable on Italian GAAP. Ideally this will be gained in a global manufacturing, industrial or engineering business.

You must speak advanced-level Italian and English and have the rights to work in Italy. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

A related education in Finance, Accounting or Business is essential, with a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification being preferred.

Proven experience with financial reporting, controlling and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP etc.)

Able to travel internationally 1-2 times per year
