Descrizione del lavoro

The position is based in Tuscany. The Plant Manager reporting directly to the LG Industrial Director will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end plant operations, including production planning, operational efficiency, and workforce leadership. This role requires exceptional adaptability and the ability to manage complexity, while ensuring sustainable growth, efficiency, and high-level standards. The plant is composed of 150 HC.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute plant operations strategies aligned with business objectives and requirements.
  • Lead and manage plant site, ensuring consistent performance, quality standards, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee production, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering functions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on lean manufacturing, cost optimization, and process innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations across all facilities.
  • Management of the P&L of the plant ensuring financial performance.
  • Build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams through effective leadership, coaching, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve seamless operations and scalable growth.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or related fields
  • At least 10+ years of consolidated experience in similar role in the Fashion industry
  • Excellent technical knowledge of bags, starting from development of models to industrialization and production
  • Strategic vision and medium- to long-term planning skills
  • Excellent knowledge of production processes, continuous improvement techniques, and safety regulations
  • Good problem-solving skills and results-oriented approach
  • Strong leadership, communication and management skills
