Overview
For our client, a cross countries company leader in the education system for both private and public sectors, we are looking for an:
IT Specialist
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary IT point of contact for Italy, coordinating day-to-day IT operations and projects.
- Ensure compliance with corporate IT standards, security policies, and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Coordinate the rollout and maintenance of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for end users, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Collaborate with the Corporate IT team to support enterprise platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, Blackboard LMS, Classlife SIS, Business Central ERP…).
- Manage local IT vendors, service contracts, and coordinate third-party support.
- Support onboarding/offboarding processes, asset management, and inventory control.
- Facilitate training and IT awareness sessions for regional staff.
- Assist in implementing and tracking regional IT budgets and procurement.
Your Profile
Qualifications
- 4+ years of IT experience, preferably in a multi-site or international environment.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies (M365, Azure AD…), networking basics, and endpoint management.
- Experience with user support, service desk operations, and vendor coordination.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and across teams.
- Fluent in English
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the education sector or similar service-based environments.
- Exposure to cloud-based systems and SaaS environments.
- Understanding of data privacy and Italy compliance.
