Rocco Forte Hotels is a luxury hotel Company, founded by Sir Rocco Forte and his sister Olga Polizzi in 1996, with the aim of offering unique and personalized experiences in iconic European locations such as Rome, Florence, Sicily, Puglia, the United Kingdom, Germany and Belgium.

What will you do?

As Group & Event Sales Executive, you will manage all incoming group leads with an aim for converting the best piece of business for the property, working in close collaboration with the Proactive teams to support each step of the enquiry life cycle when and if required. Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Managing all incoming room-only and residential group leads per property/area, including qualification, selling and negotiating in line with the properties yielding policies.
  • Managing the conversion of all room-only and residential group leads per property/area and yielding rooms and banqueting space to maximise group and event revenue.
  • Selling and negotiating on the phone and email; maintaining responsibility for the sales processes within the Enquiry Life Cycle from lead to handover to the Event Services Team, including post-event follow up.
  • Collaborating with Proactive sales teams to support conversion (qualification, follow up, proposal preparations, negotiations, site inspections and post-event follow up); ensuring Proactive teams are copied into leads from their geographical regions.
  • Building rapport with annual groups and re-contracting; re-qualify annual groups each year to ensure no displacement.
  • Collaborating with the Event Services Team to ensure weekly handover meetings for confirmed residential and room-only leads.
  • Maintaining a healthy pipeline to achieve property budget.
  • Undertaking all training related to the role – selling, negotiating, site inspection and revenue training.

What we are looking for?
  • Proven track record in Group Sales (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong selling philosophy with developed customer relationship skills.
  • English at advanced level.
  • Good organizational skills to successfully manage conflicting priorities from all team members and clients.
  • Previous experience in Event Management.
