Job Description: FP&A Transformation Manager

This Position Reports To: Global Head of FP&A, Robotics. In this role, you will act as a key driver of FP&A transformation projects for ABB Robotics, with a strong focus on implementing a new management consolidation, reporting, and planning tool.

You will serve as the bridge between Finance, IS, and external partners to design, test, and deploy systems and processes that enable efficient, transparent, and stand-alone reporting. In addition, you will provide financial expertise and system knowledge to support automation, improved insight generation, and consistent reporting across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.

The work model for the role is hybrid, and the preferred location is within Europe. Some travelling might be required for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • FP&A System Implementation: Co-lead the deployment of the new consolidation, reporting, and planning tool, ensuring alignment with business requirements and spin-off readiness.
  • Process & Data Management: Standardize reporting, automate forecasting, and implement data governance to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with listed company requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Management: Act as liaison between Finance, IS, business users, and external partners; provide training, documentation, and support adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Continuous Improvement & Digital Transformation: Identify opportunities for automation, driver-based planning, rolling forecasts, dashboards, and other best practices to enhance FP&A efficiency and insight.
  • Project Oversight & Delivery: Manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for transformation initiatives, ensuring risks and dependencies are identified and addressed proactively.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar with at least 5–8 years of Finance/FP&A experience with strong focus on systems, transformation projects, and financial process improvement.
  • Hands-on experience in finance system implementation (e.g., consolidation, planning, or BI tools) and ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
  • Proven project management skills, including leading or co-leading initiatives, managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
  • Solid financial acumen, with deep understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and consolidation principles; strong proficiency in SAP, HFM, Power BI, Anaplan, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and change management skills, able to work effectively across Finance, IS, and business stakeholders to drive adoption and improvement; fluent in English.
