Overview

Field Service Engineer Lombardia Piemonte – For over 50 years, SCIEX has been developing groundbreaking technologies and solutions in mass spectrometry and capillary electrophoresis. Our products enable our customers to quickly respond to environmental hazards, better understand biomarkers relevant to disease, improve patient care in the clinic, bring relevant drugs to market faster and keep food healthier and safer. The Associate Field Service Engineer is responsible for developing the knowledge and skills to conduct maintenance, installations and repairs of SCIEX mass specs and related HPLCs. This position works under close supervision and mentoring of the direct manager, regional specialists and senior engineers within the territory, preferably located in Northern Italy, western part of Lombardia or eastern part of Piemonte. Assigned territory will be mainly Lombardia and Piemonte.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop technical skills to perform high quality maintenance, installations and repairs of SCIEX mass spectrometry systems and related HPLCs.
• Conduct service visits to customers to perform preventative maintenance, calibrations and troubleshooting.
• Accurately document service activities, parts usage and timekeeping; ensure compliance with internal procedures and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with regional specialists and senior engineers to resolve complex technical issues and share knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with customers, build strong relationships, and understand customer needs.
• Travel for customer visits and/or trainings; hold a valid driving license (B).
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and participate in training programs as required.

Qualifications

• 3-year Bachelor\'s Degree in Life Science, Chemistry, Engineering or related field (including Istituto Tecnologico Superiore - ITS Academy) and/or equivalent field experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally with customers.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and/or trainings; driving license B is essential.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
