Job Title : Director of Food and Beverage
Salary : €50,000 - €58,000 gross per annum
Location : Rome, Italy

This lively, multi-purpose destination property in Rome is looking for a Director of Food and Beverage to lead the team of their lifestyle hotel in the beautiful Rome!

We're seeking an inspiring and strategic Food & Beverage Director to oversee the F&B operations of one of the most vibrant, community-focused hospitality destinations in Rome.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage a dynamic team, craft unforgettable culinary experiences, and be part of a broader international hotel group with presence in 5+ countries across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, catering services, and special events tailored to a varied guest profile.
  2. Develop and implement innovative operational strategies that drive revenue growth, maximize profitability, and ensure outstanding guest satisfaction across multiple service channels.
  3. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team to deliver consistent, exceptional service and foster a positive workplace culture.
  4. Manage budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and supplier negotiations to optimize operational efficiency.
  5. Oversee planning and execution of menus, promotions, and events that align with guest preferences and industry trends.
  6. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards while maintaining quality control.
  7. Collaborate closely with senior management, culinary teams, and other departments to align F&B offerings with overall business goals and community engagement.
  8. Act as the primary liaison for key clients and partners regarding F&B services and event coordination.
  9. Monitor market trends and competitive positioning to continuously innovate and enhance offerings.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven senior management experience (5+ years) in food and beverage operations, ideally within hybrid accommodation environments or diverse hospitality properties.
  • Strong strategic, financial, and operational acumen, including P&L management.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills focused on performance development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced, multifaceted hospitality settings serving a broad demographic.
  • Passion for delivering memorable guest experiences and fostering community-centered hospitality.
