Position Overview

The successful candidate for this role will work with a team of other electrical and mechanical-focused engineers performing maintenance and repair for our data center infrastructure. We take our customer requirements for uptime seriously and keep our facilities maintained to a very high standard to ensure uninterrupted service for our customers.

Duties

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facility systems. Areas include: Electrical, mechanical, building monitoring, and control.
• Use of the Building Management System (BMS) and regular on-site checks.
• Management of suppliers and services, and maintenance of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Daily monitoring of maintenance service providers and ensuring cleanliness standards.
• Implementation of improvement plans and small projects.

Job Requirements

• Technical education (advanced technician or engineer level) in one of the following areas: Electricity (generators, UPS, low voltage distribution), climate, and cooling.
• Knowledge of fire protection and physical security (access control, video, and intrusion detection systems) or central building management systems is advantageous.
• Experience in operating data centers or similar environments.
• Versatile technical knowledge, especially in the areas of operation, maintenance, and inspection of critical systems.
• English and Italian – The minimum level required is B1.
