Continuous Improvement Manager / Process Excellence Manager - Nuremberg

The role is based in Nuremberg. If you relocate for the role and your home address is at least 80 km from the site, we will support you with a relocation package.

To continue to drive process excellence within our Last mile Delivery business, we are currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager / Process Excellence Manager / Process Improvement Manager or comparable as ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence Systems) Manager. As an ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence Systems) Manager, you will drive process standardization on site and serve as the link between station management and the ACES team. You will contribute to the optimization of the delivery stations’ operations, providing staff with the knowledge and tools to improve performance, solve complex problems with practical solutions, and enable overall process alignment through effective communication.

This role will be based in our delivery station in Nuremberg. You are willing to work in non‑traditional shift patterns which include nights; the current shift plan is day shift (approximately 8:00 am to 5:00 pm) plus occasional night/late shift. Additionally, we require the ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Contribute to audit initiatives and support results-driven action planning
  • Deploy Process Standard implementations and upgrades within the delivery station alongside station management and stakeholders
  • Develop and continuously pilot process improvements and benchmarking initiatives
  • Ensure station management understands benchmark rates and is trained in technical configurations to drive accurate reporting and productivity boosts
  • During peak time, manage day‑to‑day operations of a Delivery Station, providing leadership to Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants and Delivery Service Providers, and managing external agency relationships and performance
Basic Qualifications
  • University degree (or equivalent) in business, engineering, supply chain, transportation, mathematics, economics, physics or another technical field
  • Relevant experience in supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting
  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Fluency in both German and English (speaking, writing, reading)
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building analytical tools
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or QuickSight
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Lean Management & Six Sigma Black Belt certification
