About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Developer with a strong background in the biomethane and biogas market to drive growth across Italy. This role is pivotal in expanding our project portfolio, building strategic partnerships, and strengthening our market presence in Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies for biomethane projects across the target regions
  • Identify, assess, and secure new commercial opportunities (greenfield and brownfield projects)
  • Build and manage relationships with end users, EPCs, developers, utilities, off-takers, regulators, investors and regulatory bodies
  • Lead commercial negotiations and coordinate the preparation of technical & commercial offers
  • Monitor regulatory frameworks, incentives, and market trends in each country
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences and stakeholder meetings
  • Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities that can convert into sales.
Required Profile
  • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in business development within the biogas, biomethane or renewable gas markets
  • Proven track record of closing deals and developing projects in at least one of the target regions
  • Strong understanding of biomethane value chains (feedstock, upgrading, grid injection, offtake)
  • Excellent commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a cross-border, fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a strong asset
