About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at PT. CJ Logistics Indonesia, based in Cibitung District, Bekasi, West Java. This full-time role will be integral in supporting the efficient and effective management of our state-of-the-art warehousing and distribution operations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods.
• Coordinate and supervise the warehouse team to ensure all activities are performed safely, efficiently and in compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock control measures to minimize losses and optimize storage utilization.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and service delivery.
• Provide training and guidance to warehouse personnel to develop their skills and capabilities.
• Ensure the warehouse facility, equipment and systems are properly maintained and functioning effectively.
• Support the Warehouse Manager in preparing reports and KPI tracking for the senior leadership team.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar warehouse assistant manager or supervisory role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry.
• Having experience to handle frozen food customers or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing operations, inventory management and logistics best practices.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing training and development opportunities.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office applications.
• Commitment to promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
