Overview
Total Rewards Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing competitive and sustainable compensation and benefits programs that support employee retention, motivation, and engagement. This role also leads the development of the total rewards strategy including base salary, incentives, benefits, recognition, and non-financial rewards while ensuring compliance with Indonesian labor laws and alignment with the company’s goals and culture.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain a fair and competitive compensation structure aligned with market trends and business objectives.
- Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure competitive pay practices within the F&B industry in Indonesia.
- Develop and maintain C&B policies including salary bands, job grading, bonus structures, and allowances.
- Create and execute short- and long-term total rewards strategies to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and manage non-cash rewards programs such as wellness initiatives, recognition programs, and work-life balance policies.
- Collaborate with performance management teams to implement performance-based incentive schemes.
- Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with Indonesian labor laws and statutory requirements, including BPJS (Social Security) and tax regulations.
- Oversee accurate and timely payroll processes in coordination with finance and payroll vendors.
- Manage relationships with external vendors for insurance, wellness programs, and other employee benefits.
- Prepare and manage the annual compensation and benefits budget.
- Provide insights and analytics on compensation trends, cost implications, and reward effectiveness to senior management.
- Use data to support workforce planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Economics, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Prior experience in the F&B, hospitality, or retail industry is a strong advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory benefits.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using HRIS and compensation tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-outlet business environment.
