Job summary

A leading retailer based in Indonesia is seeking a safety compliance officer to oversee supply chain security and ensure compliance with business policies. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities include liaising with third-party suppliers and conducting investigations to mitigate risks. This position requires flexibility due to the 24-hour nature of the business and may involve travel.

Qualifications

• Well organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage workloads.
• Fluent in English, both written and oral.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills required.
• Understanding of GDPR and its implications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with business needs and KPIs.
• Conduct investigations and root cause analysis.
• Liaise with 3rd-party suppliers to ensure compliance.
• Produce reporting from all areas of responsibility.
• Act as a point of contact out of hours where necessary.
• Develop and promote corporate policies.

Skills

Well organized with strong attention to detail

Knowledge of supply chain/logistics movements

Fluent in English, both written and oral

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Understanding of Microsoft Office

Able to work individually and as part of a team

Understanding of GDPR

Knowledge of relevant legislation

Ability to respond at short notice
