Supply Chain & Purchasing Professional

The Supply Chain & Purchasing professional is responsible for managing the end-to-end flow of goods, materials, and services to ensure operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. This role bridges strategic supply chain management with tactical purchasing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supply Chain Planning: Develop strategies to optimize logistics, inventory, and distribution networks.
• Procurement Operations: Execute purchasing processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and negotiate pricing to balance cost and quality.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with vendors to ensure reliability and performance.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies across supply chain and procurement functions, implementing solutions to enhance productivity.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, finance, and logistics teams to align supply chain and purchasing goals.
• Risk Management: Anticipate potential disruptions in supply and create contingency plans to safeguard operations.
