Supply Chain Manager (Procurement/Purchase and Warehouse)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain/procurement/warehouse, including managerial level.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, warehouse, inventory control, logistics, and forecasting.
- Proficient in using ERP/SAP or similar systems.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented in monthly closing, inventory, and fraud prevention.
- Solid understanding of legal, quality, and safety standards in supply chain management.
- Proficiency in English is an advantage.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
- Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
- Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites (stores), and in the factory.
- Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
- Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
- Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.
- Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
- Negotiates prices and sourcing for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies to land more profitable deals.
- Participates as an advisory member of the product development team, providing information and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials.
- Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
- Work on forecasts and inventories
- Develop new and existing relationships with suppliers/vendors.
- Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
- Leading the monthly closing process, ensuring accurate inventory transactions between vendors, warehouses, and stores.
- Preventing fraud by conducting triple-way matching of order amount, received amount, and invoiced amount.
