The factory specializes in producing premium‑grade coconut shell charcoal briquettes, combining natural resources with advanced production expertise. Its supply chain supports the full production cycle, from sourcing raw materials to final delivery. The business primarily serves B2B clients across consumer goods, industrial products, and export sectors, ensuring consistent quality at scale. Job Role

The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager will be responsible for leading and optimizing all supply chain activities within the coconut shell charcoal briquette factory. This includes overseeing procurement of raw materials, vendor negotiations, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution processes to ensure seamless operations from production to delivery. The role requires both strategic planning and hands‑on execution, balancing cost efficiency with operational reliability. As the company’s products are primarily exported to international markets, the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager will play a critical role in managing export‑import documentation, customs compliance, and global distribution logistics. This involves close coordination with shipping partners, regulatory authorities, and international customers to ensure timely, compliant, and cost‑effective deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement & Supplier Management: Oversee procurement processes, negotiate with suppliers, manage contracts, ensure timely delivery of materials. Evaluate supplier performance, quality, and reliability.
  • Inventory & Warehouse Management: Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, optimize warehouse layout, ensure safety compliance; reduce lead times for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Logistics & Export Operations: Coordinate export processes, documentation, customs compliance, on‑time shipments. Align production schedules with material availability to optimize flow and costs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop logistics team, set and track KPIs, ensure accountability, efficiency, compliance.
  • Cost Control & Risk Management: Manage logistics and supply chain expenses, identify and mitigate risks, maintain supply chain continuity.
  • Process Improvement & Innovation: Implement process improvements, introduce systems (ERP, WMS), optimize operations for efficiency, cost, and transparency.
Candidate Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields. CSCP or CPIM certification preferred; Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in supply chain/logistics management within manufacturing, with exposure to export/global logistics. Proven track record in leading teams including export coordinators, warehouse staff, and inventory controllers.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in supply chain software and inventory tracking; solid knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, inventory management, warehouse operations, contract management, risk management, and JIT planning.
  • Professional Qualities: Strong analytical, leadership, problem‑solving, decision‑making, communication, negotiation, strategic thinking, planning skills.
  • Mobility: Flexible with overtime, dynamic production schedules, occasional travel to suppliers or partners.
  • Language Skills: Professional‑level English for reading, writing, communicating with international suppliers/partners.
