An environmental organization based in Jakarta is looking for a Sourcing & Feasibility Lead to drive early-stage forest-carbon projects. This role involves building partnerships, managing feasibility assessments, and engaging with local governments. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of relevant experience in project management and expertise in Indonesia's environmental policies. Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English are essential. This position is full-time on a 6-month renewable contract.
The Sourcing & Feasibility Lead, Indonesia, will serve as Terraformation’s in-country focal point for identifying, assessing, and advancing early-stage forest-carbon and restoration projects through feasibility.
Reporting to the Head of Sourcing, this role will work closely with local partners, government agencies, and consortium counterparts to shape Terraformation’s project pipeline in Indonesia. The Lead will coordinate due diligence, feasibility assessments, and stakeholder engagement to ensure that sourced projects are technically sound, commercially viable, and aligned with national, donor, and funder priorities.
This position combines external partnership-building and government engagement with cross-functional coordination to move projects efficiently from concept to feasibility confirmation.
