Job description

Manage the organization’s communication and marketing strategy through social media and other digital platforms to increase visibility, build a positive image, and attract support from sponsors and potential sponsors for the programs/activites carried out.

Responsibilities
  • Developing digital communication and marketing strategies that are aligned with the vision and mission of JCLEC and its sponsors, setting target markets and success indicators, and managing content plans and publication schedules across various platforms owned by JCLEC.
  • Develop and execute promotional or social campaigns.
  • Creating public materials like newsletters, and collaborating with the JCLEC LRC team in documenting activities for publication purpose.
  • Monitoring social media performance.
  • Collaborate with the JCLEC ICT, LRC, and EMT teams in promoting activities at JCLEC.
  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of JCLEC and its staff.
  • Maintain effective relationships and communication with JCLEC visitors and the extended JCLEC community.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience working in managerial role.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in communication (Communication, marketing, public relation, or other related major)
  • Experience working in a bi-lingual, cross-cultural environment, and government sectors is highly desirable.
  • Bi-lingual, both conversationally and in writing - Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive relationship management with an ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders including JCLEC management, JCLEC staff, and related external parties.
  • Familiar with the social media analysis tools.
  • Creative, adaptable, able to work both in a team and independently

The Jakarta Centre for Law Enforcement Cooperation (JCLEC) was established in 2004 within the grounds of the INP Police Academy in Semarang, Central Java by the Governments of Australia and Indonesia to support the development of Indonesian and Regional transnational crime prevention capability through the delivery of professional training opportunities and capacity development activities and projects. The JCLEC Foundation is registered as a not‑for‑profit organisation under Indonesian Law and is jointly managed by Government personnel from the Indonesian National Police and the Australian Federal Police.
